Rust

The noble look of corten steel! Inspired by the natural pigment rust, this creation presents itself as a representative of the stylish avant-garde, as the Rust model stages the theme of natural surface finishing in a way never seen before.

Using a multi-layer process specially developed by HIRSCH, we bring the natural material of iron onto the wrist. The starting material is powdered iron filings, left overs from the metal industry. This iron powder corrodes through the targeted use of oxygen and water. Once the desired effect is achieved, we stop the process, fix the further development with a special treatment and at the same time make the unique material durable. This creates the "Look of Corten", the naturally unmistakable patina. Due to the rust process, each bracelet is truly unique, not two are alike.
